This video shows the movement of Konstantin Chaykin's unique Lucomorye clock. The movement consists of 1119 parts. Most of them form the unique chain graphic numeric hour indicator mechanism invented by the master. A chain is wrapped around a spiked barrel, with different configurations of the chain forming the shapes of Roman numerals from I to XII. The number changes every hour. The movement also features the minute and date indicators and a tourbillon. The chain indication is the main complication, though, and it consumes the most power. It is powered by three of the four barrel drums. The fourth one reserves power used for the tourbillon and the minute and date indicators.
