Elvis recorded the B-side to "Bossa Nova Baby" on May 26, 1963 in Nashville. On release in October 1963, the hi-energy track made it to #32 in the Billboard singles charts. Written by Dave Bartholomew and Pearl King and initially a 1955 R&B hit for the Spiders, "Witchcraft" made its Elvis album debut on Elvis` Gold Records Vol.4. It has since appeared on Worldwide Gold Award Hits Vol. 2, For The Asking, and From Nashville To Memphis. The first take from the session appeared many years later on Collectors Gold; a further alternate has since come out on Today, Tomorrow and Forever. Elvis sang the famous Sinatra song ( written by Carolyn Leigh and Cy Coleman ) of the same name in a duet recorded on March 1960 for The Welcome Home Elvis Show, while The Voice sang "Love Me Tender."
