Hematoma is collection of blood so it's a small blood clot in the perianal region around the anus. That's called perianal hematoma. These also called thrombossed hemorrhoid, external hemorrhoid. If it is small, it is nothing to worry about. Most of them look quite painful but very small. Hematoma can happen when people are sitting and traveling for long periods or they have very hard stools where they adopt a lot of pressure or even when they have very loose motions with pressure when it is coming out. More blood clots can happen around the anal canal. They are called as hematomas, they are external thrombosed piles. If they are very small just you can leave it alone.
