Now, the thing about the X-Cup in F-Zero X is the fact that you get a multitude of different tracks to race. Currently, I have not replayed the same track once yet. While it doesn't give you some of the features that it does in the regular tracks, such as jump plates and loops, it does vary itself just enough to make things interesting. Tracks that contains pipes and cylinders are usually short, circular tracks, but can vary in difficulty if the tracks are oblong with bumps and dips (usually with cylinders). While some other tracks can be very long with multiple hairpin turns that artificially extend the track, especially if they lack dash plates and you have to rely on your own boosters. There are other tracks that contains sharp dips that are so bad, that the AI controlled cars cannot navigate such obstacles, and probably the player as well if the person isn't paying attention. Yep, the X-Cup is quite a piece of work and gives it a heck of a lot in terms of replay value. As for Samurai Gorah's Fire Stingray, it's quite a tough machine. When I mean tough, I mean it's built to be very sturdy and take hits, and its A-Class body is proof. It handles very good and making turns is quite smooth which makes its B-Class grip all the more justifiable. However, its boost is D-Class, but it doesn't feel like it. It may be one of the faster feeling cars, so it might be underestimated, in my opinion. The Fire Stingray is a great machine to race with. I would put it second only below the Blue Falcon amongst the "Four Kings of F-Zero". Enjoy the races.
