Today we’re going to throw a some Staple Helix Coils in the Mage GTA and the Mage Combo RTA RTDA. These are two of the latest devices to share the Mage name from CoilArt. The GTA is an odd little device with a deck that requires you bend your leads in a particular way to fit them into this deck. And while the deck is capable of handling some massive coilporn coils, the airflow and wicking are not. Because of the way the device is designed, raising the deck up within the chamber it creates airbubbles where juice cannot travel - right where the wicks hang down. Meanwhile the Combo RDA RDTA has a spring loaded Shuriken style deck, versatile airflow, and one of the most elegant means at switching from an RDTA to an RDA and back that I’ve ever come across.
