Beginner bodypainters, this tutorial is for you- How to body paint the full body with metallic silver paint & look like bodypaint loving celebrities Rhianna, Kim Kardasian & Miley Cyrus! There are only two inexpensive ingredients and its an easy way to experience bodypainting or getting bodypainted for your first time. Whether you wanna look like Rhianna, cosplay as the tin man, or are a photographer wanting to explore bodypaint & lighting in your fine art sessions, this will give you the basics to start your bodypaint journey for less than $50. Ingredients: Mehron Mixing Liquid: https://amzn.to/3GzfrNA Mehron Silver Metallic Bodypaint Powder: https://amzn.to/4jRBwVT Plastic Cup Kabuki Brush (& smaller synthetic paint brushes): https://amzn.to/4jqZFTw Two plastic tableclothes or drop cloths: https://amzn.to/4cS9JT2 Instructions: 1) Pour 1/3 of the powder into the cup (avoid breathing it in or use a respirator mask). 2) Add mixing liquid and stir until you get an inky consistency and the powder is absorbed. 3) Apply using a kabuki brush moving your arm in an up and down motion across the model’s skin. 4) Continue until there are minimal or no streaks left. 5) Use smaller detail brushes around the eyes, ears, etc for full coverage. 6) You can paint the bottom of the feet but make sure the model has flipflops as it does leave marks on the ground 7) Have fun in your bodypaint! Take lots of pictures in warm and cool toned lit areas. Note: this is a hybrid bodypaint so it is water resistant but NOT waterproof. Its trickier to remove so we made a bodypaint removal video that I will post next Wednesday. Hit the subscribe button so you don’t miss it! For more intermediate artists, I recommend using an airbrush for contouring, smoothing streaks & adding contrast. What would you like to learn next?
