A Story of Maximum Joy with Ms. Betty

We met Ms. Betty and her family 31 years ago. She called OSC for Christmas assistance, and we supplied supplied food, clothing, and educational supplies for the kids. When we met her, she was taking care of her invalid husband, her grandchildren, and foster children. We were so impressed by her strength, her perseverance, and her unwavering faith in God no matter how challenging life got. Since that time every year, at Christmastime, we have helped her take care of her children. We recently visited Ms. Betty to surprise her with a copy of Maximum Joy: A Novel and a special gift to help out with Christmas. Operation Serving Children is a global child relief agency that serves the children of God providing food, medicine, and shelter for families in crisis and developing programs for a self-sustaining society.
