Just another version of a DIY 3 zone ride cymbal you can consider building yourself that I think is worth a shot. I missed giving a close look at the rubber ring assembly but the build goes, the outer part is the thin side of the rubber, thick part is in the inner ring. The edge of the thin part sits on the middle of the membrane which triggers it. The thick part acts as kind of base support. If you have questions feel free to comment below.
