Hi , thanks for dropping by , this video is Part 3 of an idea I had for the building at Glennwoods End that housed the poison ridden Matron. Basically a build / destruction video , shows the mess that the building was in , you will see what I chose to keep and repair and the parts I felt only demolition could be the way forward. So the idea became apparent in so far as get from my banquet hall which I crafted totally underground early on and blindly make my way to the the building where the Matron unleashed her poison , using building blocks as an idea of measure and constantly checking the terrain etc above and I was pretty damned close first try as you have seen. The build video's here show that there are literally tonnes of Flintstone blocks hidden beneath Glennwoods and I have never had to farm or craft any , my banquet area was solid Flinstone block , I had 1000's lol. Some will for sure find these actual step by step working video's boring and that's ok , they are a record at least for myself to look back. There are in game , problems in Glennwoods area with water , it's behaviour and flooding issues which I have covered already , then there are NPC's pathing into floors , terrain etc and animals that will not stay in their enclosures. Problems water related still an issue as Glennwoods waterfall behind the base has flooded , now levels are below what they started at , the paper reeds not respawning , the chest behind the waterfall lies dormant. Yesterday I filled my Elevator with water using one water source as shown in my video , today I have had to re fill using 3 of those , I have left them in the Elevator in the hope that they do stop dispensing when covered to see if the Elevator will stay filled. The game is at present having some frustrating issues but I am sure Keen will do their best to fix them soon I hope. Part's 4 & 5 will be posted tomorrow for anyone who wanted to see how long it takes to do this , how I made the Elevator work with the building that still stands in it's original footprint of the vanilla game and at the same time tried to retain the Glennwoods vibe. All the heavy build on this base is done , decorations , props etc will be added over time. I have the new Shorewatch base on 2 of my character saves and there are a few video's on those 2 quite different layouts , ironic that Shorewatch has a prison also beneath it but you cannot build down there because it is in shroud , but the base is huge so the loss of that space I am good with and sealed the lower levels off with a few layers of stone , don't want that shroud in my base lol. Glennwoods prison is there for posterity on the other hand , the irony is that they are I think the 2 biggest bases in the game. We simply do not have enough NPC's or general crowds like in Assassin Creed games to fill the spaces , but who know's what is to come in Enshrouded future.
