The 3rd song in SG's "Songs that Make You Smarter" series, a series of educational songs about various topics. It was originally recorded and performed by the 2012 nendo. This song is about the countries of the world. Ever since I was a kid, I had a soft spot for maps and country flags, so I really enjoyed making this one. It has been noted many times that this was one of the songs that Maaya wanted to do the most for her final year at the group. I'm glad to say she got her way with this one, because the 2018 nendo performed this song a couple of times and also re-recorded it for that year's album. The song had last been performed by the 2013 nendo, 5 years prior to this. With Raura (Iida) out of the group and Laura Chinchilla (naturally) not being the President of Costa Rica anymore, there are slight differences on the lyrics and choreo during the segment talking about Costa Rica. I gotta say I found this song a bit confusing the first time I heard it. I didn't really dislike it, but for some reason it felt a bit off? disjointed? to me.. However, I've grown used to it by now, and I think the choreo with the flags goes very well with it. I love the energy from this performance in particular, and I also like how each of the girls gave their own touch to this song's iconic one-liners.
