We spent the day in North Shore visiting the Waimea Valley and it's luscious botanical gardens with an amazing waterfall. The day started with a long visit to the Green World Coffee Farm to learn about some of the best coffee on Oahu. Then, we explored Waimea Valley which is home to some amazing gardens, peaceful walking trails and the largest waterfall we have seen so far on the island. It was definitely worth the $8 entrance even though Nikki had to almost fight a peacock. Finally, no day in North Shore would be complete without visiting the beaches to enjoy some great surfing! We did that at the world famous Banzai Pipeline!
