It's five issues of misery porn. Ostensibly, it was created to bring an end to the Ultimate universe for Marvel. But that plan was abandoned at some point, making the series fairly pointless. I dig into what went into creating the Ultimate line of comics, discuss the main problems with Ultimatum after giving a synopsis, then try to theorize on why it all went so wrong.
