Many older classes such as Tao, Valkyrie, Warden and Reaper has three attack mastery (passive skills) that gives a total of 30% increase of physical/magical attack in town. Reaper has inherited the 30% plus the new passive 'Step Executioner' 15% at lv.15, enjoying the total of 45% physical attack increase, making it the class that has the highest attack passive (according to my knowledge). It could be deceiving if one is to compare Reaper with another class that has a wide gap in physical/magical attack passive. For instant, a Demonisher has zero magical attack passive, by adjusting its magical attack to match the Reaper's physical attack of 100k in town, by reason of the passive skills imbalance, the Demonisher would have being balanced by developer to output more damage than the skill of Reaper (but class balance does not exist in Webzen), that additional damage it has out performed the Reaper is considered a deception due to ignorant of the attack passive mechanic. In reality, the Reaper's equipments has 45% less attack than the Demonisher's equipments. In term of cost, the Demonisher did not win. The Reaper can, with the same cost of equipments and enhancements as the Demonisher, at 145K physical attack, perform the 'same' as the Demonisher. This 'same' is assuming the Demonisher does indeed have the higher damage in the skills without being supported by other factors, such as cooldown (In reality it was being supported by massive cooldown reduction in Chaos Arena) Cooldown percentage above the limit usable does not has much benefit to the Reaper that relied on combo, but for classes that relied on single skill spamming, there is no limit to the benefit of cooldown, such as that being given by the dungeon itself (like Chaos Arena). The video shows the skill 'explosion' test with and without p-rare book, the skill 'explosion' without p-rare book gives about 10 big hits (6-7 million damage) and 20 small hits (40K - 90K damage), p-rare increases the number of big hits by 20, totaled 30. Damage from combo (normal/old skills combo combined with new skill and stigma mechanic): P-rare Dismembering Slash gives 3 stigmas, command skill Stigma gives Dismembering Slash 1 stigma, Raebin 6th set effect gives p-rare Dismembering Slash 1 stigma, totaled 5 stigmas. P-rare Air Vera Crasher gives 2 stigmas, Raebin 6th set effect gives p-rare Air Vera Crasher 1 stigma, totaled 3 stigmas. I-frame combo (Dismembering Slash and Air Vera Crasher) occurred within 6 seconds (spamable with good attack speed and cooldown) gives 8 stigmas. 1 stigma gives 870% un-explode damage, 8 stigmas gives 6960% un-exploded damage. The skill Dismembering Slash itself gives 268% damage, Air Vera Crasher itself gives 218%+218%+654%, totaled 1358% The skill Explosion itself gives 1030% damage. The skill Explosion activates explosion to all aforementioned stigmas with 1105% per exploded damage, these 8 stigmas give a total of 8840% exploded damage. P-rare Explosion gives 3 stigmas, Raebin 6th set effect gives p-rare Explosion 1 stigma, totaled 4 stigmas, which give a total of 3480% un-exploded damage. The total damage from the activation of i-frame combo to 'explosion' within the first 7 seconds is damage from normal/old skill, 8 un-exploded stigmas, new skill 'explosion', 8 exploded stigmas, and the remaining 4 un-exploded stigmas (for activating the skill explosion), and 1 exploded stigma (summoned stigma from 6th set effect for the p-rare Explosion get exploded following the explosion) which is 1358% + 6960% + 1030% + 8840% + 3480% + 1105% = 22,773%. Hence the whole combo, from i-frame combo to 'explosion' is necessary within the first 6-7 seconds to realize the full damage potential of Reaper. Subsequently, due to the cool-down of 15 seconds (in reality 12-14 seconds due to cool-down passive) in the skill 'explosion', the i-frame combo needs to perform twice, that is about 12-14 seconds, before another 'explosion', in that case, a different calculation would be required. To compare the number of skills involved within the first 7 seconds with many other classes, Reaper excelled here. The actual skills are three, i.e., Dismembering Slash, Air Vera Crasher and Explosion, but in reality, each skills gives different number of summons (stigmas) with 8 + 4 = 12 stigmas (totaled), with two types of damage - un-exploded and exploded (the first 8 is equivalent to 2 hits x 8 = 16 hits of approx 1000% each which is a lot compare to most skills). In term of damage, it is like having executed 3 (actual skills) + 16 (stigmas from i-frame combo) + 4 (un-exploded stigmas from explosion) + 1 (exploded stigma from 6th set effect to p-rare Explosion) = 24 'skills' within the first 7 seconds. The final part of the video shows the first 7 seconds of Reaper's attack on the boss.
