Paveh is one of the northern cities of Kermanshah province and the center of Paveh city, which is located near the border of Iran and Kurdistan Region in Iraq. Paveh city is located at 46°21 longitude and 35°03 latitude and 1540 meters above sea level. This city is located 112 km from Kermanshah, 45 km from the border zero point and 566 km from Tehran. The city of Paveh is next to the high green valleys and the Paveh River passes through the south of the city. The climate of the region is relatively cold and moderately humid.
