It descends from McClellan meadows down to the trailhead. It's a popular favorite among Portland area mountain bikers who frequent this trail on weekends. Most hikers are here for the waterfall, not the trail, which minimizes conflicts. This is a trail intermediate level riders will find approachable. It is best ridden as a shuttle from Oldman Pass but can also be ridden as an out and back or you can even ride up the Wind River Highway to create a giant loop.
