The 2025 Kia K4 replaces the Forte as Kias's compact sedan offering. It's available with either a naturally-aspirated 2.0L 4-cylinder mated to an IVT (intelligent variable transmission) or a turbocharged 1.6L 4-cylinder with an 8-speed automatic. The NA motor makes 147-hp and 132 lb-ft of torque, and the turbo makes 190-hp and 195 lb-ft. Either way, the K4 is front-wheel-drive (FWD). Beyond the powertrain, the K4 has the largest footprint in the segment, and is tied for best legroom with its sister car, the Elantra, at 38-inches.
