IUCAA PhD residence - Nalanda | Part 1

This is a tour of the Nalanda Residence for PhD students at Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) Campus within the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Campus in Pune. This covers much of the beautiful #campus of #IUCAA so that people who haven't visited IUCAA get an idea how the place is. This coverage is done by Swarnim Shirke, Research Scolar, IUCAA. Students can take admission at IUCAA for a five year PhD through INAT, JEST and NET Exam. It is a premier institute in India that conducts research in a broad variety of areas like high energy astrophysics, cosmology, galaxies, solar physics and instrumentation. It is a member of international mega-projects like the Thirty Metre Telescope (TMT), Square Kilometre Array (SKA) and LIGO-India alongwith ISRO space missions like AstroSat and Aditya L-1.
