One of the new items coming to SMITE in the Midseason patch are Griffonwing Earrings. This new hunter item in the Mystical Earring tree increases your basic attack projectile speed but reduces your basic attack damage. It can only be built by hunters and mages and is clearly meant for carries/adcs, including mage carries. Some gods are speculated to make good use of it, such as Izanami, Freya and Hachiman. In this video, we're putting that to the test to find out how much Griffonwing Earring really help different hunters. We also test if they can increase attack speed somehow in niche cases. All in all, we're trying to determine if Griffonwing Earrings are closer to being a core item for every hunter that takes the role of old Hastened Fatalis or never used in any adc build ever.
