Prince Harry attended the 2019 Challenge Cup final between St Helens and Warrington Wolves at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. His Royal Highness has been Patron of the Rugby Football League since December 2016, when he succeeded The Queen in the role. The Duke of Sussex was greeted at Wembley by CEO of the RFL Ralph Rimmer, and met former Arsenal football player Tony Adams, who is the current President of the RFL. In the build-up to the men’s final Harry met the 2019 winners of the schoolboys’ Challenge Cup, Women’s Challenge Cup and Wheelchair Challenge Cup. Before kick-off, the traditional Challenge Cup hymn ‘Abide with Me’ and ‘God Save The Queen’ were played. 'The Wire' overcame a heavily favoured Saints side to win 18-4 and claim the trophy for the ninth time in their history. #RoyalFamily #PrinceHarry #RugbyLeague Report by Iain Jones.
