US Representative Jasmine Crockett has responded to CBS pulling Stephen Colbert’s interview with her Democratic rival, James Talarico, off the air. Crockett responded to Colbert posting his interview with Talarico to his show’s YouTube channel, which she claims gave her rival a “boost”. “The ‘Late Show’ decided that this was the option, and I think that it was a good strategy. I mean, look at what happened when they tried to censor CECOT,” Crockett said. The Representative’s comments came during an interview on MS NOW, where she referred to a ’60 Minutes’ segment on the El Salvadoran prison that gained traction online after it was initially blocked from being aired. “We found out that you could get a lot more views. So, I think it probably gave my opponent the boost he was looking for,” Crockett said.
