The game that brought us survival horror and for some reason mindfucked loads of people with it's tank controls, RESIDENT EEEEVIL!!!! A DINING ROOM! I'm a fan, not gonna lie. Of the original Playstation games that is! RE4 is a very good game but personally I enjoyed the tank controls, the bad voice acting and how it worked in general back in the day before Playstation's second generation console. The first game did scare my botty hard it did. We look back at this game now and it's quite laughable with the 'sandwich' quote and the blocky graphics and what not but back then, it started a revelation! A classic in my eyes. First of all, I really wanted to have a VHS effect on all the video files, excluding the video game footage, so there must be an app for that right? I was right. Yeah, found one and all the effects are super sweet and authentic for my visual set up! I highly recommend it if you mainly use an iPhone for video recording. I kind of planned this medley out in my head for a while. I always thought 'What would these songs sound like out loud as a rock/metal medley?' I specifically had Plant 42 worked out in my mind. The string of discordant piano notes that loop over and over. As soon as I heard that, I thought MESHUGGAH STYLE lol well not completley Meshuggah. I'm also real pleased with Guardhouse Basement, because the original only has that melody played with weird sounds behind it where I put it to a 5/4 beat and chords. My BOSS ME-50 serves me well as my assist in this medley. Thoroughly enjoyed working out different kinds of sounds and creepy noises I could thaw out of this pedal, especially the crescendo of madness at the beginning of Plant 42 as well as the octave down for the guitars to get that crunchy CKY-esc sound. And I utalized wah-wah effeciantley in this medley too. But yeah, FUCK YEASH HALLOWEEN! Hope you enjoy this shitty medley of mine.
