Bruges Christmas Market Walking Tour 2025 Christmas markets are honestly my favourite part of the year — the lights, the music, the cosy atmosphere… it just makes everything feel magical. And Bruges is one of the places I always love coming back to during this season. I really hope you’ll enjoy this video as much as you did last year’s Christmas tour. I filmed this on 22 November, during the first weekend of the opening, and even though it’s still early, Bruges was already shining. The chalets were set up, the lights were glowing, and the whole city felt like the beginning of the festive season. Walking around the Markt and Simon Stevinplein, I loved seeing all the Christmas treats, Belgian chocolates, warm waffles, and handmade gifts. It wasn’t too crowded yet, so I could explore slowly and enjoy the atmosphere while filming. And of course, I kept my little tradition — fries with stoofvlees. The smell of hot chocolate followed me everywhere, and the Winter Glow light trail added that extra touch of magic in the evening. Bruges truly becomes a real-life Christmas postcard, and I’m happy to take you with me again this year.
