A OLD FASHIONED HOMEMADE PINEAPPLE PIE || HOLIDAYS TREAT

This is a old recipe I have had in my box for over 40 year. I am about to share it with you. This is one of my favorite. A anytime dessert especially the holidays. Please the like and subscribe to see what I have to share with you. #pineapplepie ‪@simplifyourhome‬ Ingredients 1 cup pineapple 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 cup water 1/2 stick butter 1 cup coronation milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon salt 3 eggs yolk if you making meringue or 3 whole eggs if you not making meringue  Mix cornstarch and milk together. Add milk and pineapple together on low heat. Next, add water a little a time. Keep stirring until thick. Next add butter and vanilla. Last add the salt. Let cool for about 30 minute. Pour mix in the pie crust. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place in oven for one hour or until crust nice and brown. Wait until cool Serve with cool whip (optional) Enjoy!!!!
