"Hello Elephant lovers, Today's video is going to shed light on the heart-wrenching story of an elephant whose jaw was injured by a horrific mouth bomb or jaw exploding trap." It was a busy day for our dedicated wildlife officers. They received a crucial clue from the villagers about an injured elephant near the forest's border. The team had been searching for this elephant for three long days. Finding a wild elephant in such vast territory is a challenge in itself. Finally, after three days of relentless effort, they managed to locate the elephant." "However, approaching the elephant was not an easy task. Wild elephants, especially when in pain, can be unpredictable and dangerous. Sadly, there have been instances in the past where wildlife officers have sacrificed their lives during similar operations. Hence, they had to prioritize their safety. The team used a tranquilizer gun to dart the elephant, temporarily immobilizing it." "Here you can witness the devastating state of this innocent giant's injured jaw. To make matters worse, prior to falling victim to the jaw exploding trap, this elephant had already been shot by a heartless poacher. The gunshot wounds on its front leg are a grim reminder of the cruelty it endured." "After darting the elephant, the wildlife officers could finally examine the extent of the damage. The veterinary surgeon carefully assessed the injured jaw and discovered that while the jawbone remained intact, the jaw muscle was severely damaged and infected. This brought a glimmer of hope as they realized that with proper treatment, the elephant's life could be saved." "Enthusiastically, the experienced veterinarian devised a plan to administer the essential treatment within a short period. The team swiftly divided their tasks. One group was assigned to administer antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs, while another team focused on cleaning the elephant's mouth. Antibiotics play a crucial role in combating infections and aiding the healing process in such treatments." "An experienced officer, taking hygiene into consideration, carefully cleaned the infected jaw while wearing three gloves. Using cotton swabs and forceps, he meticulously removed the infected and necrotic tissues. This process is time-consuming and requires immense patience. It is an arduous task that can only be performed successfully by individuals with a compassionate heart and genuine empathy for animals." "This elephant was fortunate to encounter a group of dedicated saviors who were determined to save its life. Otherwise, it would have faced a silent death due to the infection in its injured jaw. The elephant appears emaciated because its impaired jaw makes it challenging for it to eat. However, since only one side of the jaw was injured and the jawbone remained intact, there is hope for its survival." After that they started meticulously clean the jaw using saline solution, investing a significant amount of time and effort to prevent infection. Their care and sympathy towards these gentle giants are truly commendable. The life of a wildlife officer is undeniably harsh, and only those with true dedication and love for animals persevere in this challenging job." "With the completion of the jaw treatment, the team thoroughly cleansed the wound and applied metro gel to prevent secondary bacterial infections. Additionally, antibiotics were injected to boost the elephant's immune system and aid in the healing process. Their attention then shifted to the gunshot wounds. They found some bullet particles remained in the body. They carefully removed bullet fragments lodged in the neck area." "As the treatment for the day concludes, it is time to revive the elephant. The team cleans the ear area and administers revival drugs through the ear vein. They shower water over the elephant's body, aiding in its swift recovery." "The elephant will receive antibiotics for several days, and a forest range officer will monitor its progress. It is crucial to provide easily digestible foods during this time. The veterinary surgeon is confident that with routine antibiotic treatment, the elephant can fully recover." Now, the moment we've all been waiting for. The elephant shows signs of regaining consciousness. It stands on its feet and slowly walks back into the forest, on its way to a hopeful future."
