Wild elephants, especially when in pain, can be unpredictable and dangerous. Sadly, there have been instances in the past where wildlife officers have sacrificed their lives during similar operations. Hence, they had to prioritize their safety. The team used a tranquilizer gun to dart the elephant, temporarily immobilizing it." "Here you can witness the devastating state of this innocent giant's injured jaw. To make matters worse, prior to falling victim to the jaw exploding trap, this elephant had already been shot by a heartless poacher.
