Vintage Can Sealer Restoration - an awkward monstrosity!

Links to some of the tools used in this restoration are below. Another flea market find, this time a 1940's or 50's Canadian can sealer. This is a 25-pound iron behemoth that has some of the roughest castings I've ever seen. While a fairly straight-forward restoration, getting it apart took quite a bit of elbow grease as it was completely devoid of even one drop of any oil around the tight-fitting parts.
