A four-year-old girl in Pune had a narrow escape after dangling precariously from a high-rise window. The incident occurred around 9 AM in Katra's area when the child's mother had stepped out to buy vegetables. Locals noticed the child and raised an alarm. The fire brigade was called, and the mother rushed back to open the locked house. Neighbors managed to rescue the child. The fire brigade later inspected the building and found a gap of more than one foot between the grill and the window. They have issued a notification for the building and others with similar structural issues.
