Sennheiser MD421 vs Shure SM57 for Metal Guitar - Blind Test - Mesa Boogie TriAxis/2:90

Comparison of these two mics on a Marshall 4x12 cab (with G12 speakers), using my Mesa Boogie TriAxis and Simul Class 2:90 along with my Strandberg guitar. This is set up to be a blind test. Mic 1 begins at: 0:19 Mic 2 begins at: 1:07 The names of each mic are revealed at 1:57 The two mics were recording simultaneously. The comparison is of the same audio clip. The only processing I did was to roll off the bass a little bit, otherwise it's a completely dry recording. I did my best with mic placement and I think they were set fairly well, I moved them around quite a bit to find a good spot. Enjoy!
