2025 IFRSD Dives Belize

January 25th thru February 1st, 2025 The International Fellowship Of Rotarian Scuba Divers (IFRSD) gathered up in Belize to do what we do best!! We saw wild skies and underwater structures! Creatures great and creatures medium and creatures small.....And then the really really small!! Sharks and trunkfish! And then, of course, the great blue hole!! And Much More…..You will just have to watch and see!! In keeping with our motto “Surface above self” we donated $3,750 to Believe in Belize (BiB). They are using the funds for an educational project about plastic pollution based on the book “Flidgywumper Saves the Seas”. They will purchase at least 350 books with a supplemental project sheet to accompany each book. The book and activities will be used in all 301 of Belize’s primary schools, for education and projects like making reusable shopping bags from old tee shirts. In addition, each of Belize’s 33 community libraries and 16 branch libraries will have a permanent copy.
