In our recent report, The New Merchants of Doubt, we uncovered that at least 10 of the EU Green Deal policies were derailed by Big Meat and Dairy and industry lobby groups. The Green Deal promised a healthier and more sustainable food system, and yet as the new EU Commission forms, the EU system and CAP subsidies continue to favour the largest and often most polluting farms, prioritising animal agriculture.
