Being rejected by Heaven and Hell, Jebidiah's spirit now roams the Earth, searching for those who wronged him. Locals say if you see Jebidiah's ghost, you will be dead from a car accident within a year, though there's no valid confirmation of this. Either way, he aimlessly walks the ruins of his former life; forever lost on the streets of Harbor City. Until one night, Calypso appears, offering him a chance to find purpose in the afterlife. Reunited with his old chariot, Brimstone, he agrees to compete in the Twisted Metal contest once more in hopes of being redeemed. However, as the tournament progresses, The Preacher starts to question how he can even drive; eventually finding himself face to face with apparitions of the past, which leads into a brutal flashback of what he did in that church...
