Hey guys, Edit from Februar 1st 2025: After rewatching the video on a whim last night, I actually discovered a fatal flaw in my theory myself. This makes it very unlikely that the overall timeline I propose in this video is actually correct. Here's my mistake: In the video, I hypothesize that what we see at the end of "Future Redeemed" is Elma who visits the secondary "New Earth" as I call it. However, it makes little sense that the planet shown there is anything but the "Recombined Earth" aka the original Earth. Unless Takahashi Tetsuya trolls everyone and made a quick cut to "New Earth" for some shocking reveal in a later game, the planet the mysterious vehicle lands on is the original Earth, fullstop. Even with this error in my theory, there are large parts that I stand by, such as the connection between the trilogy and Xenoblade X, or that it's weird for the plaque to be where it supposedly is at the time. Still, I needed to clear up this big flaw. Huge bummer, admittedly. But that means I can start thinking about a new, better theory! Have fun! ----------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------- Original Description: it's time for some severe theory crafting again - this time aided by the recent information from the Xenoblade 3 Artbook! This is probably the most effort I've ever put in making a video, so if you have any interest in the topic, please watch until the end. The video basically does 2 things in one: First, show how Xenoblade X is connected to Xenoblade 1-3. Second, show a timeline that includes all four Xenoblade-games and in what order events take place to get to the end of what's currently known. As I say in the video, while I made sure to craft my theory based on facts and strong hints from official sources, there's naturally a good chance that I might be completely off, too. As someone who loves Xenoblade X, there's a strong desire in me to have it be part of the overall timeline, so that's what pushed me to spend the past 2 weeks on making this video. Where I put the emphasis on X, others choose to focus on Xenosaga or other titles. At this point in time, there's no definitive answer, but the only reason I made this video is because recent findings from the XB3 Artbook gave my theory some strong support. And it could still be all wrong. So please enjoy this video, give it some thoughts instead of instantly dismissing it, and feel free to comment on it as well as share your own theory in the comments!
