Xbox Banned Me for This! Thanks to Xbox's outstanding filter, I was issued an enforcement action just like good old times. Did I deserve it? Yes, but I didn't know it can get me banned. I'm well versed in the Xbox Community Standards and ToS. And I do know that sending inappropriate images is against Xbox ToS. But in this video, we learn what seems really innocent ends up being inappropriate because an alpha male's feelings were hurt. Or the Xbox filter system just picked it up randomly which may be the case but you never know. Xbox doesn't say much about their enforcements besides if you're caught, there will be consequences. Even though it's vague and has no learning value to it. I was playing L4D2 and I had this alpha male on my team. What turned out to be a simple glitch jump, turned into a suspension on the Xbox Network. Some argue that what I did isn't considered a glitch but I don't know what else to call it. In Dead Center, I jumped off a balcony to a lower floor. This is a famous shortcut used by a lot of players in the game, especially speedrunners. The alpha male messaged me, asking how I managed to jump down without dying. I didn't take him seriously until I realized what a clown he was. But like normal, I explained to him how I made the jump in the game. Eventually, he started insulting my intelligence and claiming how he was an alpha male that can do more push-ups than me. Keep in mind, this is Xbox. Why would you feel the need to go there? Perhaps to feel bigger than someone? Sure, whatever. I didn't curse him out or anything. I eventually sent him a picture over the Xbox chat. The picture wasn't really offensive for me which is why I sent it. But apparently, the alpha male was not happy about it and I guess, reported the picture which resulted in me getting banned on Xbox. The ban is a two day communications ban (2 day suspension) as stated on the Xbox enforcement page. Apparently, it's ineligible for an appeal because I definitely would've appealed it with my vast knowledge of Xbox suspensions. I just find it a little ironic how this Xbox alpha male is going to be insulting, but then report me and have me banned. He also blocked me because I apparently was a "beta" that didn't have the privilege of talking to him. If only these reporting options were that fast against scammers and cheaters on Xbox. But I guess Microsoft did not take too kindly to me making fun of the alpha and so I was punished. Lesson learned, not.
