The first pin goes down around 2:25 and clearly shows a dramatic ricochet. The second 2 go down around 5:05 I was unable to knock down the 4th pin and thought the wind knocked it down. The 22 Long Range 22 Silhouette Match at Wilton ends with offhand shots at 300 yards at a steel buffalo about the size of a paper plate. Many of the seasoned BPCR shooters routinely hit this target with their 22's for this fun rifle match. Over the years, Elizabeth and I have both earned our silver buffalo pins at this rifle match but on a recent windy day off I decided to get new site settings as cheap M-22's are the only ammo I've been able to acquire recently so I set up 4 bowling pins at 300 yards on a windy day and set the camera to record a few shots with Beaumont the dog as my witness (I was along but talk quite a bit to the dog who gets excited at shots as she assumes there's a partridge en route every time the gun goes off!) I was using a canon g12 on a tripod on concrete. massive mechanical and digital zoom make the wind wobble more pronounced but you can see many of the near-hits and at least one clear ricochet. This is an exceptionally boring video if you're not into small-bore, long-range, offhand rifle shooting with iron sights...
