It can be very hard to find tooling leather that is both financially attainable, and enjoyable to tool on. I tried out multiple tooling leathers, some are made specifically for leather tooling, and some are traditionally used in different applications, that I was genuinely curious about weather or not they would perform well as a tooling leather. I am VERY excited to share this leather comparison with you! I was fortunate to get to spend some time earlier this year with my dear friend, and everyone’s favourite leather craft educator ‪@Corter‬ Leather. Him and I took a trip out to ‪@Buckleguycom‬ one day, and I was gifted some very cool leathers to test out and compare to share with you all.
