A Quick Hike on Mount Kearsarge on the Rollins Trail in New Hampshire Rollins Trail, Mt Kearsarge, New Hampshire Thanks for watching! Like, subscribe, and keep watching for upcoming videos. We like to travel and check out new places, and videos like this we thought would be useful for anyone else looking for new adventures too. We randomly came across Rollins Trail while on a roadtrip out through the eastern states using the Roadtrippers app (huge fans). Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. More info from the New Hampshire State Parks website - https://www.nhstateparks.org/visit/st... From the Rollins State Park Website - 1066 Kearsarge Mountain Road Warner, New Hampshire 9am - 4pm - Gates close at 5pm $4 for adults, $2 for children 6-11 Rollins State Park, located in Warner, is situated on the south slope of Mt. Kearsarge. A 3-1/2 mile long scenic auto road rises from the park entrance through woodlands to the parking and picnic areas. The picnic area, located in a natural wooded glen beneath granite ledges, is historically referred to as the "Garden." It affords views that stretch from Mt. Monadnock to the hills of New Hampshire's coastal plain. The summits of Pack Monadnock, Crotched and Uncanoonuc Mountains, the hills of central Massachusetts, and the Boston skyline are visible on the horizon, while the Mink Hills and Merrimack River Valley can be seen nearby. A one-half-mile trail to the summit of Mt.Kearsarge leaves from the picnic area. Once in the parking area, there are 2 trails that lead to the summit. The first is on the left and is the Lincoln Trail. This is the steeper rougher trail. Staying to the right and using the Rollins Trail is an easier trail through the forest and bare granite. Both are similar in length. This park is always open for recreation unless closed or restricted by posting. During off hours and the off-season, the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risks while recreating in State Park lands. Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free. Season passes are available. When the park is unstaffed during the season, please use Iron Ranger (self-serve paystation). Leashed pets are permitted in the park. See the NH State Parks Pets Policy for more information. ---------------------------------------------------------- Gear we use (Amazon Affiliates) DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo - https://amzn.to/3ypo3SU DJI Mavic 3 Cine - https://amzn.to/4bmYyjA DJI Osmo Action 4 Adventure Combo - https://amzn.to/4bmYGzA DJI Osmo Mobile 6 - https://amzn.to/3V1Mgrk DJI Ronin RS 4 - https://amzn.to/4anbWmB Sony ZV-1 Vlogger Camera - https://amzn.to/4dJrYdk Sony FX3 Cinema Camera - https://amzn.to/3UKB01g Sony G Master 24-70mm Lens - https://amzn.to/4dNbMYA Sony G Master 16-35mm Lens - https://amzn.to/3QKEeAn Zoom F6 Multitrack Audio Recorder - https://amzn.to/3K4dK9x Rode NTG4+ Shotgun Mic - https://amzn.to/4byx8Ho Peak Design Backpack - https://amzn.to/3K8diHo Lowepro Flipside Backpack - https://amzn.to/4dM7514 Nat Geo Road Atlas Adventure Edition - https://amzn.to/4dJtIDo Road Atlas and National Parks - https://amzn.to/44P5iVi Route 66 EZ66 Guide - https://amzn.to/3V4REKg ---------------------------------------------------------- #rollinsstatepark #rollinstrail #mtkearsarge #mountkearsarge #newhampshire #hiking #mountains #adventure
