Hartford is the capital city of the U.S. state of Connecticut. it is located in Hartford County and is only minutes from Massachusetts. It is the fourth largest city in Connecticut and falls behind Bridgeport, New Haven, and Stamford in terms of population size (check out our videos). it is often noted as one of the more dangerous areas due to having one of the highest crime rates in the state of Connecticut and the New England area in general. Poverty levels are also significantly higher than the state as a whole. The landscape is characterized with a mix of low income, affordable housing the abandoned homes and more affluent areas. for the purposed of this video since this is a hood tour we drive though the streets of areas with higher the average crime rates.
