My first narrowband image and of course it just had to be the Western Veil Nebula (NGC 6960). This is the result of 5 nights and 93x300s images (7h 45m total exposure time). I tried processing the data in different color palettes, but liked SHO (Hubble palette) and HOO the most. 0:01 - telescope setup 0:13 - slew to target 0:37 - time lapses 1:35 - NGC 6960 (HOO palette) 2:01 - NGC 6960 (Hubble palette) Equipment in this video: Mount: Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro Counterweight shaft: Geoptik 25mm shaft for EQ6 mount Counterweights: 5kg Geoptik weights for 25mm shaft Scope: Explore Scientific FCD100 Series 127/952 Carbon Fiber Triplet Focuser: Starlight Instruments FTF3035B-A 3.0'' Feather Touch Focuser Electronic focuser: ZWO EAF Camera: ZWO ASI2600MM Pro Filter wheel: ZWO 5x2'' Filter: Baader Ultra-Narrowband 3,5nm H-alpha Filter 2'' Filter: Baader Ultra-Narrowband 4,5nm S-II Filter 2'' Filter: Baader Ultra-Narrowband 4,5nm O-III Filter 2'' Guide scope: Omegon Pro APO AP 66/400 Autoguiding camera: ZWO ASI178MM Dew heater controller: Pegasus Astro DewZap Dew heater: Astrozap dew heater Time lapse camera: GoPro HERO7 Black Disclaimer: This video has been created for information and entertainment purposes and is not advertising any of the shown products.
