When I sent the “golden” track to Emilien, he asked if it is okay since it wasn’t bachata, and I got a little nervous, but I really wanted to try it. 🥹 I felt the song fit so well with the Influence vibe the breathing, the beat, the speed control all came together nicely. It also has Korean elements in it, and the whole moment🔥 stepping out to challenge myself far from home felt meaningfully perfect for our situation, haha. When @emilien.tehina.bachata came to Korea I heard that they chose “Golden” as thier first demo song , I was honestly so surprised it brought back so many memories from that time. Watching their demo moved me deeply. Such a beautiful full circle moment.❤️ Demos in front of so many amazing dancers are so nervous for us, but also incredibly thrilling. It wasn’t easy to learn and express a new bachata style in such a short time. but It was a great opportunity, and I’m glad we did it. The way everyone genuinely cheered and the dancer who said our demo has the most memorable story—I’m so grateful for that.🤍 Huge thanks to all the Influence dancers who opened this opportunity @bachata.influence, and I’d love to team up again if another chance comes up.
