✅ PLC Programming is just the beginning. I want to take a few minutes and share 13 different paths you can take once you have developed your fundamental PLC programming skills. Stick with me. You're going to want to hear this. I'm going to share a story with you. I just got back from a one month trip to China and Japan. So most of the trip was in China about 25 days, and four days in Japan. My job there was to do a little bit of learning about how some of the companies work in China, develop and build electrical motors and hydraulic power units. But the other part was to evaluate the businesses and see if they would make good partners for us to do some work with. I spent the whole month there and it was a great experience. I spent a lot of time basically doing international business development, making contacts, meeting people, assessing their manufacturing facilities while trying to understand what our needs were and strategizing our business. What kind of business would we go after? What kind of price points would we get? What kind of capacity and capabilities would be our partners that would be in these overseas businesses. Should we look at India, Mexico, Taiwan. I was trying to understand the big international business scene as it relates to the industrial automation world. Wow. That's a big, big space away from a PLC programming where I very first started. I wanted to share this story with you because this is where my programming took me. Now, why is that relevant? Because without the PLC programming, I wouldn't understand the intricacies of machinery and equipment. I wouldn't understand the technical aspects of motors. While I did discover how they designed motors and I just got to learn the math and to take on that educational piece had I not had the automation training to begin with. So that was that fundamental piece. Having a passion for adding new technologies and new skill sets to toolbox was really important. It really empowered me to be a strong decision maker to understand what it is that I was dealing with and understand the business elements as well, and it can grow your career beyond your imagination as well. https://www.logixworkshops.com ************************ Follow us on; Facebook: / logixworkshops Website: https://www.LogixWorkshops.com ************************
