Who are the three assailants who killed Atiq Ahmed, his brother Ashraf in Prayagraj?

Gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, his brother Ashraf were shot dead on April 15 in Prayagraj. The incident took place when the brother duo was being taken for a medical checkup. The gangsters were killed after three persons opened fire near a medical college. Police arrested the 3 assailants on the spot involved in the crime, who posed as TV reporters. The 3 accused have been identified as Sunny Singh, Lovelesh Tiwari and Arun Maurya. The assailants arrested from the spot will be presented before the magistrate on April 16. The police are also checking the CCTV footage installed at the crime scene and nearby areas. It is also being ascertained how assailants get close to Atiq Ahmed with sophisticated guns. A bike was also seized from their possession on the spot, which allegedly belongs to the accused. Several cases of unlawful activities have been registered against the assailants by the UP Police. As per Lovelesh’s father, the accused left his home 8 days before. Hours after the murder, Uttar Pradesh government imposed Section 144 across the state.
