Developed by DRDO and produced by Bharat Dynamics Limited, the NAG is a third-generation, fire-and-forget anti-tank guided missile designed to penetrate reactive and composite armor. Mounted on a BMP-2 chassis, NAMIS offers both top-attack and direct-attack modes, making it highly effective against heavily armored tanks, even in low visibility conditions. Variants like the helicopter-launched HELINA and the man-portable MPATGM further expand its versatility. Additionally, new light vehicles from Force Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra will improve troop mobility and operational efficiency.
