[Cover] Make Them Hear You - Ragtime: The Musical

Black lives matter. Full stop. (This video is not monetized.) Full disclosure. I am Asian-American. It's not my place to speak over Black voices, speak for Black lives. Where it is my place is to offer the support I can, to uplift Black voices and use my influence to spread a message to call for justice. Justice against police brutality in the United States, justice for the black lives that are drowned out in a sea of violence. The case of George Floyd was but the tipping point of years of abuse, years of blind eyes thinking that Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech was the end of it. All I expect of this video is to provide a means of support, a gateway to ways we can help, to band together and fight for equality, because the voices that need to be heard have fallen on deaf ears. It's not enough to just not be racist. That's the bare minimum, and we can and SHOULD do better. Take to the streets, call for justice. Do not destroy on whims of violence, for that will drown out the voices of those voices that need to be heard the most.
