The Langhe region in Piedmont, Italy is home to the famous Barolo and Barbaresco, the king and queen of Italian wines. In our recent trip, we hired a private driver to take us from our homebase of Turin to explore the food and wines of the region. Beyond Barolo and Barbaresco wines, this region has a unique and rich local cuisine that deserves its place in the upper echelons of Italian Food. Thus, many winos and foodies make the pilgrimage to this region each year. We also ticked a major foodie bucketlist item with an excursion to the iconic Alba White Truffle fair.
