This is a 286 system I put together in 2021 based on a Eurosoft HT12 motherboard, Harris 20MHz 80286, 4MB 60ns RAM, Tseng Labs ET4000AX and XT-IDE BIOS. It benchmarks very well - not as high as a 25MHz system, but substantially faster than the usual 16MHz 286 and easily as quick as a low-end 386 (SX20 or SX25 or thereabouts) due to the very impressive memory bandwidth and low latency wait states of this board. Just an example of some of the benchmarks of this thing to show cpu, fpu, memory and video performance metrics with: Landmark 6 Comptest ATPerf Along with Wolfenstein 3D in demo mode (14.7FPS) and a longer play through of the first mission of the original Wing Commander (last played about 20 years ago, and now on a keyboard only, so give me a break!). PC speaker audio for now I'm afraid. This isn't the best 286 you can build, but it's pretty solid in terms of performance and definitely as-good-as, if not slightly-faster, than a lot of other 20MHz 286 systems. Apologies for the video quality - I really need to invest in a VGA capture device.
