Limequat is a small, easy to care for tree. It has characteristics very similar to citrus. It can be grown in a pot perfectly and works well for the home interior. Limequat is more cold tolerant than most lime trees but a little less so than most kumquats. It can survive temperature as low as 22 degrees F, and is sometimes survive temperature as low as 10 degrees F (usually for mature trees). Limequats are good for jams, jelly, or use as substitute for lemons or limes. Limequats are best suited for both raw and cooked applications and can be consumed whole. Fruits are small and usually less than 2 inches long. The tree grow up to 5 ft tall and 3 ft wide. Limequats are a good source for Vitamin C, fiber, and folic acid. I highly recommend this variety! Have fun gardening no matter what season. Have a great and wonderful day to all!
