Silverstone - Crash and Action - BRSCC Weekend - September 2025

A change of scenery this time around; the BRDC grandstand (where I usually film from) was closed for some reason so I had to relocate and try something else. I sat between Luffield and Woodcote for a short while before I found out that the grandstand at Copse had been opened so decided to give that a go. I must say it was actually a really good view and I thoroughly enjoyed filming from somewhere else for once! This weekend saw the final rounds of a handful of championships so it was definitely a bit of an all or nothing style weekend with a fair few mistakes along the way. The racing was extraordinarily close this time out, credit where credit is due I don't think I've ever seen so many cars funnel into a corner multiple times and get away with it but this weekend had it all! Unfortunately one of the Audi TTs had a rather nasty shunt into one of Silverstone's hard hitting concrete barriers; my best wishes to the driver Ryan because it looked like it must have hurt. On top of this there was a multi-car pile up just out of my sight during the last Mini Trophy race which resulted in two drivers going to hospital. I'm hoping for both a speedy recovery and fingers crossed they will be able to make the last round of their championship campaign. Oh, and no track limits were breached in the making of this video...
