GREECE - Northern Greece Roadtrip | Lefkada, Meteora, Vikos Gorge, Zagori & Mount Olympus

In this episode we explore Northern Greece on an overland road trip, discovering dramatic landscapes, historic towns and some of the best hiking and hidden gems in Greece. We start on the island of Lefkada, where turquoise waters and towering cliffs impress us. After a few days beach hopping, we rent a small boat and explore the coastline from the water. From there we head inland to one of Greece’s most surreal landscapes: Meteora, where centuries-old monasteries sit on top of towering rock pillars. Continuing deeper into the mountains of Epirus, we discover the wild beauty of the Vikos Gorge and the traditional stone villages of Zagori, one of the best regions for hiking in Greece. The adventure then takes us to Mount Olympus, the mythical home of the Greek gods. We spend the night in a mountain hut before making the final climb to the summit of Mytikas. To end this journey through northern Greece, we slow down along the beautiful coastline of Sithonia, part of the Chalkidiki peninsula. The perfect place to relax and prepare fore our next border crossing.
