【オリジナル曲・自作自演】世界初演(2025年春) 作曲・チェロ演奏：佐橋拓弥 ミキシング・動画編集：神展彦 《紡ぐ》は、その題名が示すとおり、さまざまな技術や文化、そして想いが連なり、受け継がれていく姿を音楽として描いた作品です。 作曲のきっかけとなったのは、作者が子犬を迎え入れたことでした。新たな生命との出会いを通して、生と死の循環、さらには仏教的な輪廻の思想へと想いが広がり、この曲の構想が出来上がりました。 冒頭では、教会旋法による主題が静かに提示されます。この旋法的な響きは、時間を超えて受け継がれてきた記憶を象徴しています。主題はやがて展開し、変ホ短調による中間部へと移ります。そこでは、石のように硬質なピチカートが現れ、「死」や存在の静止を思わせる音響空間が広がります。 やがてニ長調による愛情の主題が紡がれ、生命のあたたかさと希望が浮かび上がります。こうして対照的な要素が一本の糸のようにつながれていきます。 終結部では、冒頭の主題が再び姿を現しますが、調は当初より半音低い変ニ長調へと移ろいます。それは単なる回帰ではなく、経験を経た上での変容であり、未来へと志向する響きとして作品を閉じます。 編集者コメント 紡ぐ、をこの世界を紡ぐ水のモチーフで表現しました。 作曲者が撮影した演奏動画と、出身校へのロケ、取り溜めていた素材を組み合わせて、雲から川、森、動物、文化が紡がれ、そして曲のテーマと共に雲海に戻ります。 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 【Original Composition・Self-Performed】WORLD-PREMIERE RECORDING 2025 Piece for Solo Cello ”Spinning” Composer・Cello : Takuya Sahashi Audio ・Video : Nobuhiko Jin As its title suggests, “Spinning” is a musical work depicting the intertwining and passing down of various techniques, cultures, and sentiments. The inspiration for this composition came when the composer welcomed a puppy into their home. Through this encounter with new life, thoughts expanded to encompass the cycle of birth and death, and further to Buddhist concepts of reincarnation, leading to the conception of this piece. The opening quietly presents a theme in church modes. This modal sound symbolizes memories passed down through time. The theme gradually develops, transitioning into a middle section in E-flat minor. Here, a stone-like, hard plectrum sound emerges, creating an acoustic space evoking “death” and the stillness of existence. Then, a theme of love in D major is spun, bringing forth the warmth and hope of life. Thus, contrasting elements are woven together like a single thread. In the coda, the opening theme reappears, but the key has shifted a semitone lower to D-flat major. This is not a mere return, but a transformation through experience, closing the work with a sound oriented toward the future. Editor's Comment We expressed “spinning” through the motif of water weaving this world.
