This is the third of three videos taken at the Bentley (Calne) Model Railway Club's annual show held at the Calne Leisure Centre on Sunday 14th April 2024. This was the 28th exhibition organised by the Club and featured 12 layouts with a number or trade stands. 'Broadford' is an HO gauge layout by Iain Hunter. Broadford is a dormitory and service town situated 72 km north of the City of Melbourne in south central Victoria, Australia. The area is agricultural and noted for sheep and cattle farms. The station is on a double track broad gauge (5ft 3in) which runs north of Melbourne and is next to a single track standard gauge line to Sydney. The layout depicts the statin with its passing loops as they were in the 1990's. 'GLR Demonstration' was a layout which was part of one of the trade stands and featured a couple of LMS Steam locomotives. 'Oldshaw was built by Guy Moleneux and is EM gauge. A small station is depicted with a nearby rail-served factory on a branch of British Railways Western region in the 1970's/1980's. The passanger service is usually operated by DMUs (Diesel Multiple Units) and blue diesels operate unfitted freight trains which have vacuum brakes. The station building is based on Arley on the Severn Valley Railway and the signal box is typical of those found around the area of Frome in Somerset. 'Bridgebury Gate' was created by Russ Hobbs and uses N Gauge. Bridgebury Gate is a fictional town in the South of England and the layout operates trains that would have been seen between 1966 and 2000. There is a twin-track mainline which passes a station with twin island platforms and limited freight facilities.
