Like my Facebook page to stay updated! / zacharyrizermusic I've been asked many times to do a Manta demo, and I've been putting it off for a while. I've been delaying this video because I've been a bit confused as to how I wanted to best demonstrate this pedal. The Manta offers so much, it is hard to narrow it down into one video. So I chose to show only my favorite filters, and only controlling them with the Manta's envelope. Possibly in a later video I can show some of the expression control, LFO, and Hot Hand possibilities. I also did not touch the drive/distortion possibilities in the Manta. I choose to run my own dirt pedals into the Manta (rather than using the Manta's internal distortions). Since I was cramming a lot in this video already, I don't dive into these options. I start the video by showing some of my favorite upward envelopes (with both dry bass and synth bass sounds), then I go into my favorite down envelopes, and then at the very end I show a few special effects I like doing by mixing with other pedals. My basic upward envelope settings are these (unless tweaked live in the video): Depth: 4 o'clock Frequency: 10 o'clock Mix: full wet (low retain side) Speed: 3 My basic up down envelope settings: Depth: 8 o'clock Frequency: 2 o'clock Mix: full wet (low retain side) Speed: 1 Bass used: Dingwall ABZ 6 String Other effects used: Strymon Mobius, Eventide H9, TC Electronic Mini HOF, Boss OC-2, Source Audio Bass OFD
